South Carolina hunting in the low county can’t get any better than what we have experienced at Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge this year.  With plenty of mature bucks harvested, many others seen and lots of immature bucks passed up for the years to come.  We have harvested a number of does as well, but we need to harvest a good many more to keep a good balance.

The hog hunting has been okay, but with all the hunters in the woods around our properties and hogs finding food everywhere they travel, the hogs have been a little more nocturnal than normal.  With less hunters in the woods soon and the more corn that we put out, the hogs will start showing up again in the daylight hours.

As many of you know, most of our hunters have been hunting with us for years and always return for more hunting experiences.  We always look forward to meeting new hunters to share our outdoors with us, so if you would like to join us, please give Becky a call and come and enjoy!

We still have a second rut time coming up usually in the 2nd or 3rd week of December with those big bucks chasing the young does of the season.  We always harvest a few of our best bucks of the year during this time.

Let’s take a look now at some of the action in November at Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge.
