Alligator Hunting

main | whitetail deer | wild boar | eastern wild turkey | combo hunts | alligator | bowhunting

South Carolina finally opened up its alligator hunting season in 2008 and now Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge has access to a limited number of tags for our hunters to use on these prehistoric creatures.

We will be offering these hunts on a first-come, first-served basis, and most hunts will be done in our private ponds and canals near our Luray lodge. Hunters will be charged $100 a day for meals and lodging, and they can hunt for as many days as it takes to get their gator. However we expecting 100% success on our gator hunts, and we don’t anticipate that it will take more than a day or two to get the job done. Hunters will then pay $200/foot for their harvested gator.

Most hunts will be spot and stalk for these descendants of the dinosaurs, with the hunter and their guide trying to find a big one sunning on the bank. However hunters will also have the option of trying to stick one with their bow and arrow at night, and then finishing it off with a bang stick.

If you are interested, we encourage YOU to call us for more details about the hunt ASAP since we have a limited number of tags.
